DDA Assist Fittings
The Kwikclamp DDA Assist range has been specially designed to achieve compliance with AS1428.1-2009 - Design for Access and Mobility - hand and safety rails, barrier systems used in disability applications. A range of both internally expanding clamps and saddle type fittings is assembled without the use of welding, threading or specialist tools and some fittings do not require drilling or riveting - no special skills required - fast and very easy to install. Handrails jobs can be installed within days as all items are available ex-stock - no waiting, no fabricating delays.
All the DDA fittings are for C42 or D48 pipe or tube (32NB = 42mm OD x 3.2mm wall thickness and 40NBmm OD x 3.2mm wall thickness tube); tube can be powder coated to any range of standard colours (lead times and minimum order qtys apply for powder coated products).
Simple but highly effective expanding internal joiner / clamp system - just tighten the Allen screw and the clamp expands internally creating an extremely tight join of pipe rails and post - really clever system! Use the special joiner "O" ring to ensure joints are really smooth and have no sharp pieces or edges.
